Welcome to The Creative Center. Things have been a bit slow lately but I plan to get going with the new year both here and at my election blog.

This blog takes its name from the 2007 Inaugural Address by California Governor Arnold Schwarzernegger when he said

At one time, the greatest public policy innovations came from the liberals,such as during the New Deal. Then the most innovative ideas came from the conservatives, such as Ronald Reagan.

It is time we that combined the best of both ideologies into a new creative center. But this is a dynamic center that is not held captive by either the left or the right or the past.

I find great wisdom in these words. The biggest problem in modern politics is the fact that we are held captive by two political extremes. Democrats are bound to the hard left, Republicans to the hard right.

My goal on this site will be to promote a non partisan agenda which follows the above advice and seeks the best from not only Republicans and Democrats but from those of every political stripe.

Personally I am a moderate to moderately conservative Republican. I support Arnold as a good leader, but I also have voted for Senator Feinstein. I think President Bush is a good man and have supported him at the ballot but there are areas where I disagree with him.

I want to welcome all views and opinions, with the sole proviso that this is an insult free zone.I don't want you to trash other posters, or for that matter political figures. No Bush hating, but no Clinton hating either.
